Audience: School site staff and other staff who use ladders and step ladders Aims: To ensure that the school and its ladder users meet the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations. Course Content: - Hazards of working at height - Access equipment – ladders, scaffolds, stepladders, scissor lifts etc - Hazards with use of ladders and stepladders - Safe use of ladders and stepladders – theory includes precautions for school children and public/visitors - Inspection of ladders and stepladders – theory – how to identify faults, legislation requirements - Safe use of ladders and stepladders – practical - Inspection of ladders and stepladders – practical - Questions and answers
