Looks at different methods for evaluating risk and explains the purpose of a risk assessment and method statement and action to take if the risk assessment is no longer valid.

Enables persons required to undertake risk assessments for display screen equipment, manual handling, working at height, lone working, young persons, expectant mothers and COSHH in offices and other low risk occupations.
Students will be able to complete basic risk assessments and be able to recognise when additional help is required

Will enable those involved with risk assessments in higher risk activities to have a full understanding of the risk assessment procedures needed to be followed
