    The NUCO Food Safety course is designed to clarify aspects of food safety which many believe to be daunting and complex.

    This is an excellent introduction to Food Safety in Catering and will benefit all employees at all levels, particularly those who hold, or are about to hold, a food safety role within their catering organisation.

    There is a legal obligation for employers to establish policies, procedures and ensure their employees receive the appropriate training.

  • This course covers...

    • How individuals can take responsibility for food safety

    • The importance of keeping him/herself clean and hygienic 

    • The importance of keeping the work areas clean and hygienic

    • The importance of keeping food safe 

  • Structure

    Currently this course is by client arrangement only.

    This is a one day course which can be undertaken at:

    • Our purpose-built training facility in Woodbridge, Suffolk, or

    • Your own premises.

  • Information

    Successful candidates will be awarded a national Level 2 (Level 5 in Scotland) qualification which will provide an ideal platform to higher level training or career development.

    A certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.

    Completion is achieved through on-going theoretical teaching by the instructor, culminating with a written test.This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current.

    We can accommodate a maximum of 16 delegates per course, and delegates must be 14 years or over.
