    The Working Safely Course is a basic introduction course lasting one day, and provides the student with general information on roles and responsibilities. A multi-choice question paper is answered at the end of the day. It is a course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility.

      • Successful completion leads to the award of the nationally recognised IOSH certificate or passport card

      • Delegates will have a good understanding of the key elements of working safely and how they can ensure the safety and health of themselves as well as others

    • Structure

      This is a one day course.

      Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must work safely, and this course delivers this information.

      It is divided into five modules:

      • Introducing Working

      • Defining Hazard and Risk

      • Identifying Common Hazards

      • Improving Safety Performances

      • Protecting our Environment

      The delegates are assessed at the end of the course by a multiple choice tick box assessment and a hazard scenario exercise.

      No previous health and safety knowledge is required.
