Safety for Executives and Directors provides directors and managers with an understanding of strategic planning for risk management, meeting their legal obligations with regards to health and safety legislation and how to manage safety more effectively within their organisations.
IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors is aimed at senior personnel to provide a clear understanding of their key legal liabilities, including how to develop an appropriate health and safety management system to effectively monitor and control strategic risk, thereby improving culture and demonstrating clear leadership.
This one day course will enable delegates to review policies and strategies and, where necessary, introduce changes to enhance the safety culture within their organisation.
Delegates will be required to sit a multiple choice assessment, and will receive an IOSH accredited certificate on successful completion.
Enables delegates to understand and develop a practical health and safety risk management system within HSE's auditing model of 'Plan, Do, Check, Act'.
Provides a comprehensive understanding of key legislative requirements including risk assessment and risk control strategies.
