This new course is designed to assist with the management of contractors and third parties which can be a significant issue for many workplaces.

    Our CDM course is designed to assist with the management of contractors and third parties which can be a significant issue for many workplaces.

    In line with the CDM Regulations 2015, training on co-operation and consultation with contractors will be given and best practice on site management discussed.

    This is a full day course.

    Topics covered include:

    • What is a contractor?

    • What is construction?

    • CDM 2015: key duties of clients, principal contractors, principal designers, notifiable/non notifiable works, applicable activities

    • Management arrangements

    • Providing information and training to contractors to enable them to navigate your workplace safely

    • Child protection issues

    • Site rules

    • Welfare matters

    • Required standards expected for both you and the contractor

    Location

    The CDM & Managing External Contractors course takes place either at:

    • Our purpose-built training facility in Woodbridge, Suffolk, or

    • Harlow Education Consortium

    • Your own premises.
