    The BOHS Certificate in Controlling Health Risks in Construction course has been designed for construction site supervisors so they can better recognise and control the health risks specific to their workplace.

    This one day course identifies the most common health hazards on construction sites, what their health effects are, and how to put appropriate controls in place.

  • Structure

    This one day course is structured into two modules:

    Module 1 - An online pre-reading module

    This ensures that all students attending the course have a similar level of understanding of health hazards on construction sites before attending the taught course.

    The online module will take approximately two hours, and there is a quiz at the end of the module to test your learning.

    Module 2 - A one day taught module

    This is a one day taught course which runs as face-to-face classroom learning. This includes a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course. You can find out more about the course specification here.

    Entry Requirements

    No previous health and safety knowledge is required.

    Location

    The BOHS Certificate in Controlling Health Risks in Construction course takes place either at:

    • Our purpose-built training facility in Woodbridge, Suffolk, or

    • Your own premises.
