Asbestos Awareness (IATP) Online

This course covers...

• Overview of Asbestos including the history and different types.
  

• Health effects - the dangers, who is most at risk, asbestos-related conditions.
  

• Where asbestos can be found - asbestos products.
  

• Asbestos management - management plan, asbestos survey, risk assessments employer and employee duties.
  

• What to do in the event of exposure to Asbestos

Structure

The course is completed on an online platform, and can be taken at the user’s own pace. The course should take an estimated time of 90 minutes if taken all at one time.

The course is formatted into the following areas:

• Welcome – Introduction to the course

• Lesson One – What is Asbestos?

• Lesson Two – Health effects

• Lesson Three – Where it can be found?

• Lesson Four – Asbestos Management

• Assessment – multiple choice assessment (you are required to get 70% or above to pass the course)

• What’s next? – access to a downloadable certificate and additional resources

• 31-40 users - £19 per user

• 41-50 users - £17 per user
