The Accident Reporting course enables users to understand the purpose of RIDDOR (Reporting of Incidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations), how to make a report and what constitutes a reportable accident.
The course covers the following topics:
What is RIDDOR?
Types of reportable accidents
How to make a report
To understand the purpose and relevance of RIDDOR
To understand the types of reportable accidents and incidents under RIDDOR
To understand how to make and amend accident reports
The course is completed on an online platform, and can be taken at the user’s own pace. The course should take an estimated time of 20-30 minutes if taken all at one time.
The course is formatted into the following areas:
Welcome – Introduction to the course
Lesson One – What is RIDDOR?
Lesson Two – Types of reportable accidents
Lesson Three – How to make a report
Summary – Overview of what you have learnt on the course
Assessment – multiple choice assessment (you are required to get 70% or above to pass the course)
