It is also accredited and credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Accreditation. It sits in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at SCQF Level 6 with 11 SCQF credit points (equivalent to an A level).

The NEBOSH General Certificate syllabus is divided into 2 units and covers 11 elements:
The unit is assessed by a three-hour practical assessment completed in your own workplace (or another suitable workplace). Candidates must pass all specified criteria for this unit.
A 'pass' must be achieved in both units to achieve the National General Certificate.
All units must be completed within 5 years to achieve the full NEBOSH General Certificate qualification.
The cost to undertake this online course is £375 + VAT + NEBOSH exam registration fee per person.
