NEBOSH Diploma Module D

Course Overview

The NEBOSH National Diploma Module D comprises an 8000 word assignment for submission after completion of Modules A, B and C.

Assignment Structure

As a candidate, you are required to carry out a detailed review of the health and safety performance of a workplace or organisation and produce a justified action plan to improve performance.

The assignment will require you to apply the knowledge and understanding gained in Modules A, B and C in a practical environment, and to carry out critical analysis and evaluation of information gained during the review.

Your assignment must include:-

  • A description of the chosen workplace or organisation to set a context for the assignment;
  • An overview of the current arrangements in which you should critically review the Health and Safety management system;
  • A survey of a wide range of significant hazards within the workplace;
  • Conclusions which summarise the main issues identified, together with justified recommendations for improvement;
  • A costed, prioritised plan for implementing your recommendations;
  • An executive summary of your report.

Entry Requirements

Submission of Module D assignments can only take place after completion of Module A, Module B and Module C.
