Learning Outcomes:

Students will be able to complete basic risk assessments and be able to recognise when additional help is required. Helps companies meet the requirements placed on them by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Will enable those involved with risk assessments in higher risk activities to have a full understanding of the risk assessment procedures needed to be followed.

Aimed at:

All persons who use display screen equipment or use a computer or other display equipment.

Students will understand the health issues with manual handling and display screen equipment and know how to minimise risk from poor ergonomics and poor manual handling techniques. This training meets the requirements of the legislation with respect to training of staff.
